– 1 teaspoon sweet paprika

– ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

– ⅓ cup dry white wine

– 1 ½ cups chicken and gravy stock

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 tablespoon freshly chopped sage

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

To make the brown butter chicken gravy:

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and prepare dinner until browned on all sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and put aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and prepare dinner till softened. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk within the chicken broth and milk. Bring to a boil, then cut back warmth and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the gravy has thickened.

Stir within the sage and chicken and cook till heated through. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
