Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream
I developed this healthy homemade chocolate ice cream that is good for Adam & all of us. The ingredients in this recipe are flavors I like, however, you can use fresh fruits such as strawberries, banana. Coconut manna & and raw honey, some cream or almond milk, are added in when making ice cream, you can play with ingredients according to your taste & use other flavors according to your liking.
You don’t need an ice cream maker for this, all that is needed is a food processor. There is, however a little preparation, you need to freeze the fruits prior to making the ice cream.
Banana is the base for this ice cream and the coconut manna. There is no need for sugar because the bananas are sweet and we will be adding a little bit of raw honey.
Also, the measurement is for three to four servings, but you can double the recipe for as much or as little of any ingredient you like.
Chocolate Ice Cream
3 tbs of raw honey
1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
Cool whip optional for topping
In a food processor, add in the diced up frozen banana and pulse until almost smooth, add in the coconut manna and mix again. You want an ice cream like consistency, add in the cocoa powder and the honey. Pulse until you have the mixture just like ice cream. Freeze the ice cream and then serve whenever you want. Serve the ice cream in a glass or an ice cream cone.
